    Renovations: The current bleachers were installed in 1978, along with the track. The press box was installed in 1960, with renovations in 1985 and 1998. The latest scoreboard and message board were installed in 2004.
    Fun Fact: Jim Butterfield was one of only three coaches to have his home field named for him while he was still coaching.

    Fun Fact: Freeman Field hosted the baseball portion of the 1989 Empire State Games.
