    The colonists did not like the way Britain was taxing and treating them. They had a revolution against Britain after trying to peacefully fix it. The colonists won creating a new country. This is important as the win inspired France to go into their own revolution.

    Revolution is caused by serious faults found within the country. In France's case it was Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. Marie wasn't popular from the beginning with the French people and Louis constantly pushed off problems. He rarely solved problems and benefited the country. This was a big factor to causing the revolution as none of the problems that caused it were solved due to them pushing it off.

    French revolutionists stormed Bastille. For hours they fought and after four long hours they were able to enter. They wanted gun powder from the armory. This was a big step forward towards revolution and the French people celebrate this to this day as national holiday.
