San Fermin (Pamplona Bull Running)

La Tomatina
How:The people in Bunol have a giant tomato fight.
Where:La Tomatina is held in Bunol near Valencia.
When:The tomato fight starts at 11am and ends at 1pm on the last Wednesday of August.
Why:In 1945, some people accidentally knocked over a giant-headed figure. The figure started swinging around, so the people threw tomatoes at it.

Where:It is celebrated in Catalonia.

Feria de Abril (Serville April Fair)

What:Each day starts with a parade of carriages. There are many parties in the casetas, tents built for the fair.
Why:In 1847, two counsellors held a livestock fair, but after a year, an air of festivity transformed the fair.
