Richard Bedford Bennett
Richard Bedford Bennett(a member of the Conservative party) is elected as the 11th Prime Minister of Canada. He served Canada during the worst of the depression years which earned himself a bad reputation. Bennett attempted to restore Canada's economics by increasing trade with Britian and by implemetnig tarrifs for trades outside of the Empire. Bennet's name was slandered when people named their powerless cars with horses attacheds to them "Bennett Buggies" because many people couldn"t afford gas. -
