When Hernan Cortes arrived in Mexico he heard about the powerful Aztecs. Then he saw the beautiful capital city of the Aztecs and conqured it with the help of disease and rival indians who hated the Aztecs.They soon conqured the capital and renamed it Mexico City,the capital of New Spain.
