I think this is significant because the colonists wanted a say in their taxes. Instead of staying quiet, they spoke up. This initiated the colonists to not allow any form of taxes later on... or at least accept them.

With this, the colonists fought back and created the Stamp Act Congress and the British repealed the act. Later, the British enforced the Declaratory Act which said that the British government was superior to them.
Now, both sides are starting to play the same game. -
This is important since five were killed in the open shooting of American colonists from British troops. This worsened trust between the Americans and British and gave colonists a "right" to kill the British and no longer abide by its governement.

Significance: makes Americans question trust. With Andre dead, Arnold takes over and is eventually killed. -

I find this significant because this is the first foundation of the United States as a country. Important to me since I live here.
