Achilles Burial
Achilles passed away which casued great greif from his mother Thetis. She kissed her son goodbye while her nymphs built his dirge. They then stood in silence for a while as the sun went down and morned the loss of a great hero. He was then burned as Patroclus had been and the two comrades ashes were laid together, (Achilles dying)

FIghting for Achilles Armour
Achilles armour was a sacred peice because it was made by the gods and was almost indestructable. Everyone wanted this armour, but the men who wanted it most were Ajax and Odysseus. The two men wanted it so badly that the men got judges, which were Trojan captives, to come and vote which one they feared the most. The captives said that everyone feared Odysseus the most and that caused Ajax to get very angery and almost out of control.( Achilles Shield) -

Ajax goes mad
After Ajax fairly lost the compotition for the armour, he soon became so angry he could not control himself. He then proposed a plot to kill Agamemmnon and Odysseus in there tents. Palla Athene touched the mind a Ajax with maddness so that his glaring eyes passed the tents of his enemies and fixed themsleves on a great fenced in space with cattle and sheep. Ajax then slaughtered the poor sheep and took
the two rams to his tent and abused them with the other captives. (Ajax goes mad) -

Paris is shot by the Bow
Paris is shot by the bow of Heracles. In order for him to be saved and not to die he had to be carried up the hill of Mount Ida for his Ex- wife, Onenone, to come and heal him. (Bow of Hercales) -

The fighting for the Bow
Pyrrus convinces Philoctes into giving him and Odysses the bow because the god Heracules (as seen in the picture) came out on the hill and told Philoctees to go with the two men into the city of Troy and win glory over all the nation. Withought the bow, they could not win the war.(Hercules) -

The Refusal
When Paris arrives at the cave for the healing of his ex- wife, Onenone, she refuses out of the jelousy of Helens beauty because she asks if she is more fairer than Helen and he says that Helen is more fairer than the sun itself. This makes Helen mad, so she runs away and doesn't help Paris. (Helen-the fairest women) -

The Death of Paris
Paris never got the healing from Onenone, thus making him die from the poisonous bow before they come into the city. Oneone is very upset and wishes she could of helped her dying husband when he asked for her help.(Paris dies) -

Trojan Horse
After the Pallidium was taken the Greeks could finally take the city of Troy. To come into the city, they had to cram soldiers into a giant wooden horse and say that it was a gift from the gods and should be put in the middle of the city. The people didnt beleive it at first and were given a sign wich involved the death of the person who threw a sword at the horse. All of the people then beleived and got the horse into the city and later that night the Greeks attacked. (trojan horse) -

Pyrrus, the son of Achilles
The Greeks had lost a great hero, the man Achilles. In order to defeat the Trojans the Greeks had to have another hero to save them from the war. When Achilles was hiding as a women in order not to fight in the war, he had a child. The name of the child was Pyrrus and he was just like Achilles with his fighting skills. In order to come and get the boy, Odysses came to the harbor of Scyros and greet the eager man to come and join the army and save the Greeks. (Fighting,Zombies in ancient Greece) -

Unable to Beseige Troy
The greeks are still unable to beseige Troy and cut off its supplies. The Greek army then ask Calches, a man who can see into the future, what they needto do in order to capture Troy. He told themin order to capture Troy they need to get the Bow of Heracules. (City of Troy) -

The Trick
When Odysses finds out that Philoctetes is on the island with the weapon, him and Pyrrus think of a trick in order to get him to give them the bow. They go to the island and the trick works, but Pyrrus felt guilty and told the poor man that he could have his bow and to come along with them. The man refused at first, but then the god Heracles came out from the side of a mountain and told Philoctetes to come with them and join the war.(Stranded island) -

The Pallidium
Helenus, the woman who can see into the future, fled up to Mount Ida and declared that Troy cannot be taken as long as the Pallidium stands on the citidel. The Pallidium is one of the sacredest items that the Trojans have and was thought to have fallen from the sky, as a gift from the gods. In order to win the war the Greeks have to take the Pallidium.(Palladuim on the Citadel) -

The Greek Beggar
In order to get into the city of Troy, Odysses dresses up as a Greek beggar and tries to attract alot of attention by saying that he had got hurt in the battle and had been beaten. The city people took pity on him and let him come into the city and then told him where Helen's house was because he asked. He then showed Helen who he really was and knew that she was on his side and that they were going to capture the Pallidium that night in order to capture the city. (odyssues-Beggar) -

The Capture
Late at night Odysses and Diomede want to climb up the brick wall and kill the two sleeping guards so they won't get caught tresspassing, but instead of both of the men coming Diomede wants to get all of the credit, so he drops the rope so Odysses wont come up and help win the honor with him. So Diomede goes and leaves Odysses alone. After a long wait Diomede comes back with the Pallidium and they head back to a rejoicing camp. (Palladium) -

Ajax kills himself
Ajax does not want to suffer from the embarrassment of going mad so he decides that it would be better if he just ended his life so the men wouldn't make fun of his incolence. That morning Ajax is found dead by his futer bride with a sword through himself. Ajax's brother, Teucer, then offers to take care of the bride because the poor girl was in a shock to find her love dead. (Ajax killed himself) -

Left on an Island
While the greeks were camping out for the night, the men decided to do a ritual. A man named Philoctetes was going up to the alter when he was stung on the foot by a serpent. The men couldn't deal with a wounded man so they left him on that island. For 10 years he had been living on it. When the men left him, they did not leave him withought a weapon, they left him with the bow of Herecules, which the Greeks needed in order to take the city, but they did't know that at the time.
