    Industrial Relations Reform Act introduces enterprise bargaining and establishes the Industrial Relations Court of Australia
  • Workplace Relations Act introduced

    Workplace Relations and Other Legislation Amendment Act is introduced and changes the name of the Industrial Relations Act to the Workplace Relations Act. It transfers jurisdiction of the Industrial Relations Court to other courts, mainly the Federal Court. It also enforces voluntary unionism, allows non union contracts between employers and workers and allows individual contracts (Australian Workplace Agreements).
