First day of school
This day, August 12, 2008, was my first day of 6th grade. I had a lot of fun. In the 1st week I made 3 new friends and talked to somebody I haven't talked to him since 2nd grade. He moved schools. The whole day, all we did was have fun. -
Dictionary Day
On September 10,2008 my grade had "Dictionary Day." My word was pumpernickle, and a few of my friends wrods were ramshackle, barnicles, and ambitious. We dressed up as our word for the whole day. People laughed and had a great/funny time. -
Gem and Mineral Show
This day we went to the Gem and Mineral Show. Many schools were there, and I saw people I knew from different schools. Almost all of us, well for sure all of us bought something. We brought a sack lunch, and walked around a big mall that was full of gems, mierals, and fossils. We were there for almost the whole day. -
Connect The Dots
This day we learned many lessons. We had fun and got to learn new people. We learned how to get along with people we don't like. We played games and we ate our lunch in the gym. -
Halloween
October 31st, Halloween, there were so many costumes to see. We had a parade and parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and all those family members were there. I dressed up as a "Punk Rock Princess" and we had a party. We still had to do work, but at least we got about and hour out of school. -
6th Grade Musical "Tom Sawyer"
Well, mny grade had a school play called "Tom Sawyer." I was a main chaacter named "Mrs. Harper" and I had a son named "Joe." I had a lot of fun, but being in front of many people gives me stage frights some times. We had to wear dresses or skirts that looked like back in the day. -
Grandparents Day
I wasn't there to see all the kids' poems, but i heard some of them on the 18th of November. I was in Mexico, but I still had to do homework and school work.
