    My mom Teresa gets pregnant sometime during this month. My parents are living in an apartment in Westland, Michigan and my dad is working for Burroughs, which eventually becomes Unisys.

    According to my Kindergarten teacher I have good working skills. I have to sometimes be reminded to refocus on art projects. I get along well with the other children in the classroom and am able to take responsibility for my actions.

    I am one of the smallest kids in my elementary school class. A lot of the other kids my age are much bigger than I am in height and weight. This concerns my parents.

    There is a girl in my grade school who is a bully. She teases me constantly on the way home from school because I am smaller than the other kids. An older boy nearby intervenes. I did my best to avoid this girl. I hated going to school for awhile.

    My teacher, Mrs. Cockrell, has an Iguana named Lizzy Lizard she keeps in the classroom. She brings mice in to feed to the lizard, and I decide to pet the pretty mouse when no one is looking and get bit! I have to get a tetanus shot. That sucks!

    My 97 year old beloved grandmother passed away. I felt sad once I reached her house in West Virginia and she was no longer there to welcome me to her home.
