  • siege of bexar

    happened on October 12, 1835. this includes the mexican and texan army. the significance of this event was that they left the alamo with little people to protect it, thinking nothing would happen, but if more men would have stayed and protected it, it could have saved the alamo.
  • Battle of gonzales

    Happened October 2, 1835. Texans take a cannon from mexico, angered the mexicans. Factor of the revolution because it angered the mexican army/government.
  • Travis alamo letter

    On February 24, 1836, travis wrote a letter about the alamo, it was about him needing backup because the mexican army was attacking. This included men from the mexican army, along with Travis and the other texas who defended the alamo. This impacted the revolution because it shows that he needed help during the alamo ant it notifided manhy people that the alamo going down was a possibility, and it led to a longer fight which made it even for signifigant than it already was
  • The alamo falls

    This happened March 6, 1836, when 186 texan men were killed. Texan soldiers, mexican soldiers, were both fighting, texans in the alamo, mexicans attacking it. This is signifigant because it is the downfall of the alamo, meaning the fight was over, but the mexicans had won, and it contributed to the revoloution because of texans who herd the news and wanted reveng on the mexican government and men.
  • The runaway scrape

    Happened on March 14, 1836. This included women with their children, and santa anna.This event was important because it had even more texans afraid, the people running away could have saved their lives, and they kept fighting through it making the texans stronger all together.
  • goliad massacre

    this event happened on March 27, 1836. James Fannin was the leader of the texan men, and the leader of the mexican men was José de urrea. This is important to the revolution because Fannin let all of his men be killed and their bodies were burned, this could have angered texans, or brought sadness upon them
