    Segregation groups organized in ARkansas to fight school integration, which were mostly comprised of white, middle and upper class people.
  • Charlston Schools Desegregate

    Charlston Schools Desegregate
    Charlston Schools have finally integrated. Eleven african american students went to a white school but this was kept secret until Fayetteville integrated their schools.
  • FAyetteville Public Schools Desegregate

    FAyetteville Public Schools Desegregate
    Happened only three weeks after Charlston schools desegregated. After the desegrgation, sports team would refuse to play the teams that included corlored people and the same thing happend in band compitions.

    A 14 year old boy was murdered for whistling at a white women as a joke. The killers went to court for the murder trail and were accused non guilty. Later on the killer came back and admitted that they had killed the yound black boy. Nothing was done to the killers.
