Both leaders wanted to rule the country so they went to wart. the united nations stepped in to stop the conflict. the war was in stalemate and eventually the two countries just developed separately.

In all the countries, change was needed and the poeple of the country changed it for them.

    afghanistanAfghanistan was trying to become communist, so the soviets backed them up. Rebels did not want to change so they fought against it. America snuck the rebels supplies to help them. The soviets had little success here and was like the vietnam war for America.
