Exposition 3
Digory, an 11 year old has to find his father. Cubby, a 9 year old goes with his brother on the journey. Father, who is lost at sea. Master Henry, who takes Cubby and Digory in. -
Exposition 1
Digory's fathers ship has gone down at sea, Digory must travel to Plymoth to see if his father is alive. -
Exposition 2
Mousehole, England -
Rising Action 1
On his journey Digory meets Master Death, and also crossed with a gang who kidnapped him and tried to kill him. They forced him to join the gang. -
Rising Action 4
When the ship Elizabeth of Bristol, reached shore, Digory realized that the penny that he won in the bet was stolen. -
Rising Action 2
Digory and Cubby needed to find a ship going to Plymoth, but Digory fears the water. -
Rising Action 3
Digory had to climb the Crow's Nest or Mast of a ship because Cubby made a bet. Cubby made a bet that he could, but Digory knew Cubby would get hurt trying to. So, Digory took the risk an climbed the Mast. -
Rising Action 5
Once on land, some boys gave them a parrot. Cubby and Digory were accused of stealing. -
Rising Action 6
Digory and Cubby meet Master Henry who offers them to take them in. -
Rising Action 7
Digory and Cubby learn that Master Henry built the Eddystone Reef lighthouse, which now needs repair. -
Rising Action 8
Digory travels to the Lighthouse in a terrible storm. -
Climax
The Lighthouse needs new candles to stay lit, Digory must travel in the storm, to get the candles to Master Henry. They called it the storm of the century. Cobb Pomlin, a seamen, is willing to help Digory. They must complete the journey alone without the crew. -
Falling Action 1
Digory and Cob survive the journey to the Lighthouse, but Master Henry tells them to leave because the strom is too fearce. -
Falling Action 2
Digory and Cobs ship wreck. Digory survives and wakes up in a strange home, being hurried to health. -
Falling Action 3
Digory soon learns that the Lighthouse was destroyed in the storm, Master Henry was in the Lighthouse and died. -
Falling Action 4
Digory must go back to Plymoth to find Cubby because the Inn Cubby was staying in was destroyed by the storm. The land was also affected by the storm. -
Rising Action 5
Digory finds out that his brother could possibly be in the hospital. -
Resolution 1
Digory finds Cubby at the hosptal, Cubby is fine. They then discover out his father is in the hospital also. -
Resolution 2
Although Master Henry died he left Digory a letter and some silver coins. -
Resolution 3
Digory, Cubby, and there father return to their hometown and buy a new house from the sliver coins they got from Master Henry.
