Cortes conquers the Aztec Empire
Cortes goes to modern Mexico, South America, and The US in search of gold. He and his men come across the Aztec Empire and their leader, Montezuma II gives him a share of his gold. Apparently, this wasn't enough, and with the help of guns, germs, and steel, he and his men conquered the Aztecs. -

Pizarro Conquers the Incan Empire
Francisco Pizarro and his men kidnap Atahualpa and kill him after he gives them the ransom. The rest of the Incans then retreat from Cajamarca leaving Pizarro free to capture the Incan capital, Cuzco.

English Found Jamestown
In 1606, London investors get a charter to found a colony in North America. After four months of sailing, they reach Virginia, claim the land, and name the settlement after their king, James. -

The persecuted Pilgrims from England found the colony Plymouth, in Massachusetts. -
French and Indian War Ends
The English colonists push into France's land in North America. In 1754, there is a war between the English and the French over land claims in the Ohio Valley. They also battle for supremacy in Europe, the West Indies, and India. With some help from the British Army, the British colonists win the war.
