A New Generation
On September 2, 2000 Erica Elizabeth Reid was a born a heathly and happy baby weighing 6 lbs and 12 oz. I was Debbie's and Jim's first child and also my grandma's second grandchild. -
I'm Not an Only Child
One day when I was younger my parents were at a resturant. My mom saw a girl about 12 years old and noticed how bored and lonely she was. She then told my dad she wanted to have another kid because she didn't want me to be lonely. So, eventually Kelli Marie Reid came along. She is the best little sister and I'm lucky to have her. -
Grandma Helen
I don't remember alot about my grandma but I know she loved Kelli and I. What I do remember is she always made banana popsicles with us and also ice cream waffles where you take two toaster waffles then put ice cream in the middle. She died on Febuary 3, 2007 due to a heart attack probably because she had a heart attack before, which weakened her heart, and she used to smoke. I still love my grandma and one day I'll visit her in heaven again. R.I.P. -
We Finally Got A Dog!
We got Sugar "Ann" Reid on September 5, 2009 when she was 5 months old at the Grossmont Pet Store(now closed). She was with her sister on the top shelf. She is part Maltese/Shih Zu and is the best dog in the world. My family was going to get Sugar or another dog that was part Maltese/Pomerian. We played with both then my dad asked, "Which one barks more?" so we got Sugar. Sugar is a great dog and I love her. -
PapPap is an Angel
Finally, the day came when my Grandpa Joe(I call him Pap Pap) went to heaven to visit his wife and my Grandma Helen. I remember I spent the night at my Grandma Susie's house when he passed away at the hospital. He had died of cancer that you could see on his neck. It was a rare type of neck cancer that only occurs in 3% of the nation. Before he rose, his last Christmas, he said "This is the best Christmas ever". Now in church, my family always sits where he sat and its like he's there. R.I.P.
