Lexington and Concord
70 militiamen were waiting ofr them at the town square wit muskets in hand (to stall the redcoats long enough for the patriots to move the gunpowder from Concord). When the fight was over eight militiamen were dead. When the redcoats reached Concord the gunpowder was moved, and were suprised by more militamen at Concord's Old North Bridge. 174 redcoats were wounded and 73 redcoats died.
