    "School is typically the largest and most important institution with which young people are involved, and its a primary context for development(4.2 P1). This is where the most information can be revived from children in large or small amounts that will have the most effect in their health and practices.
  • Media

    "Researchers with several theoretical perspectives have examined the possible links between media exposure and changes in attitude and behaviors." (4.2 P3) let it be social media, news, videos, these kinds of media can change our perspective on topics as well as our mood and temperament.
  • Technology

    "if the social norm on TV is extremely sexual, individuals who watch that TV show will soon think that acting sexual is the social norm"(4.2 P3) If we were to let very young children watch shows like American Dad and Family Guy, they would act a lot differently than other children who's parents made them refrain from watching such adult and sexual shows. This could cause troubles at school for the kids who watch the show and the kids who do not.

    When I was younger at school they would have these days every month at lunch where they would give everyone a weird or different vegetable to try. This opened my eyes to healthier eating at a young age and influenced me in a positive way because I brought this healthy "vibe" back hoe to my parents and I still eat healthy to this day.

It could make us feel extreme anger or sadness towards people or a group of people. Normal media like the news can change or POV on many topics or decisions we make on a daily basis.

    "If a social norm on television is being very sexual, kids who watch these types of shows will believe this is a social norm and start acting like this around their peers" (4.2 P3) These shows can cause mental health and behavioral problems in the children who watch them or the other children who are around them.
  • Situation

    when I was in elementary school every month at lunch the school would pass out free samples of a veggie of the month. Most of the ones I tried I loved so I brought this new found love of veggies from school back home and told my parents about. Hence why to this day I still eat very healthy
