The H.M.S Endeavour struck the Great Barrier Reef
The H.M.S Endeavour was blown onto the Great Barrier Reef which damaged her hull creating a huge hole. They had to stopand fix her hull before they were able to move on. If they hadn't done this, they would have most definatley drowned.

Reached the coast of New Guinea

Arrived in Batavia
After arriving in Batavia, many of the sailors caught a disease. They had no medicine to help the ill-stircken sailors, so many died.

The Return Voyage -
The H.M.S Endeavour was careened to fix the hole in the bottom.
After running into the Great Barrier Reef, the Endeavour had many problems. Then when they got caught in a storm, the problems worsened.
