Installation and Setup
A dry start to spring provides time to install our monitoring stations at Invincible and Paradise Road Bridge as well as complete our detailed first 3d scan of the reach To open, right click and choose open in a new window. -
Spring Event
Spillover from frontal systems on the main divide provide rainfall and snowmelt to fuel a multi-peaked event on the Rees between the 20-29th November. Sustained high flows and four peaks were recorded, with a maximum discharge of >75 cumecs. While this is expected to be small relative to events we might monitor, significant morphological change has been observed downstream and a re-scan is underway to measure the pattern of channel reorganization.
