After the first 3 months a baby begins to recognize a certain persons scent or face, begins to imitate speech sounds, and then begins to grasp toys. -

Over the first 7 months a baby learns to turn from its stomach to its side, turn on its stomach to its back, and turn from its back to its stomach. -

Over the next 5 months the child learns to sit, crawl, kneel, stand, and walk. -

Over the first year the baby nearly triples its size. -

Around the age of 12 and 13 the childs self-esteem in very low since they are in elementary school.
