  • Meeting place

    Find a meeting room for the group temporarily as we do not yet have an office space.

  • Surveys

    The group will conduct more surveys with the general public through physical handouts and online. This will help the group decide whether people like our product or not.

  • Focus group

    Multiple focus group is will be made to find out the reactions of people to our product first hand. This will give us a very good idea on what people like and don't like through the feedback.

  • Research competitors and the market

    After hearing feedback on our product we will research who wants our product and see what competitors offer to change our idea and/or services and pricing.

  • Create a presentation for investors

    We would create a presentation for our investors that includes data such as revenue estimates and present all of our research findings to convince them that our product will work.

  • Find engineers for prototype system

    We will need to setup a full prototype including cameras and monitoring station to show investors. For this we will need to search for engineers to help us design and build the product.

  • Setup a meeting with engineers

    Once we have found the engineers we will need to setup a meeting with them to discuss ideas.

  • Engineer meeting

    Today we will have the meeting with the engineers and present our ideas and receive any ideas they have for our product.

  • Engineers start designing

    The engineers will now start designing the product and building it. This process may take about about a week to get our first prototype.

  • Find a location for our business

    Now that we have received funding from an investor we now need to start finding a location for our business. We may need multiple buildings, one for our main operations and reception and another where the security teams monitor the cameras.

  • Search for suppliers

    Whole the prototype is being constructed we can begin to search for suppliers for our building supplies.

  • Building plans

    We will need specially designed buildings especially for our camera monitoring. After finding empty plots we will construct the plans for the buildings.

  • Present to investors

    After making the presentation and the prototype we will then go out to potential investors and present our idea to try and receive funding even if they take a small percentage of the profits.

  • Start construction

    After making the plans and finding the contractors we can start the construction of the buildings Along with our new funding from the investors

  • Start refining product

    After presenting the prototype we can then smooth out the final kinks.

  • Discuss other ways of gaining money

    With the group discuss finding other ways of gaining money such as a corporate sponsorship.

  • Promotion

    Now that we are set to go ahead and make our product we can discuss with news stations and business about promotional opportunities such as adverts on the news or radio and displaying posters in other businesses.

  • More promoting

    Plan a pitch to discuss with other businesses to sell our product in their stores as well to increase our footprint.

  • Present to other businesses

    Visit the businesses and present our idea to them and try to get our product on as many shelves as possible.

  • Corporate sponsorship preparation

    A while ago our team discussed a corporate sponsorship, in the meantime we have found a company that seemed perfect, we will now start to prepare another pitch for them.

    Now that the pitch has been made and we have discussed a meeting time we can go pitch the idea to the housing company to automatically install our system into their newly built homes.

    After presenting to companies over the past 2 days We have been able to finish research about suppliers and found all businesses required to supply all of our goods.

  • Mental health day

    After spending the past few weeks non stop working the team will need to relax and destress by going out and doing something fun for the day.

  • Posters and social media

    We need to start printing our posters and setting up social media platforms to get the word out about our business so that when we start up we already have some hype built up about our product.

  • Advertise

    Now that we have printed all of the posters we can spend the day displaying around town and in the businesses that have allowed us to advertise in.
