My colleagues and I need to find a designated meeting area. Possibilities for this are; Palmerston Library, One of my colleagues’ houses, booking a meeting room (McDonald’s, Taminmin college etc) after an in depth discussion on what location is most suitable we will move onto arranging times.
-
The seed box needs an approximate price and a detailed description of what it does, how it works and what materials are used to create it. All of this information will be recorded in notepads.
-
My colleagues and I will create PowerPoints, surveys, brochures, a social media platform and set up our meeting room to hold a focus group ( focus group will be selected via mutual friends, classmates and teachers).
-
Early in the morning our Facebook page will release more information on our product and request followers to complete a survey. At 1pm our focus group will arrive and we will present our PowerPoint and ask them to fill out a survey. When they leave they will be given a brochure with our contact details.
-
My colleagues and I will review the results of our market research and think of ways to improve our design to better suit our consumers needs.
-
After collecting our data an improving our product my colleagues and I will update our information and presentations. We will write and rehearse a pitch and discuss our best approaches in order to get funding.
-
We will contact businesses and the government in order to organise meetings with them.
-
Our first meeting will be held with Ford, after discussing a corporate sponsorship with them. We will make it clear with them that our target market are the areas affected by bushfires (VIC, NSW etc). We will have previously requested that the president of the company be on Skype to view the product. They express they are extremely interested in the product.
-
My colleagues and I will head out to a yoga/meditation class to relax and prepare for the days ahead.
-
We will need to call governments and environmentalists in order to organise meeting to pitch our ideas and gain grants or investors.
-
Due to the wait for our flights and meeting we will set up a crowd funding pagers kick start our funding. The first amount of money will go towards hiring mechanics and engineers to create a prototype.
-
My colleagues and I will organise a trip and suitable days to fly to VIC and NSW (assuming Covid-19 is no longer an issue) and book the flights.
-
On the 23rd we received a call from ford requesting an in-depth meeting and review of our corporate sponsorship.
-
Wow, our crowd funding page gained a high following and a lot of donations, we have enough money to hire an engineer and mechanic to help create a prototype, we contacted ford to find out if we could partner with one of their mechanics and engineers.
-
My colleagues and I called up some local engineers and mechanics to discuss our product and request their help to create a prototype.
-
Our engineer and mechanic began working on the prototype.
-
Using more of our crowd funding we will hire app developers and discuss what we need to be done and have them start to develop it.
-
The app is ready and is waiting to be privately and publicly tested with the prototype.
-
Our prototype is complete and ready for testing.
-
In order to ensure the prototype is working correctly we will privately test it on one of our own cars and works well with the app.
-
My colleagues and I contacted our corporate sponsor to request a car for our demonstration in order to promote their cars.
-
Using Fords car we will gather our previous focus group and request they invite other people to view our prototype, using a survey we will gather their responses to the prototype.
-
We will review our focus groups responses to ensure they are reasonably happy with the prototype. And discuss things they requested to be added on.
-
Today we fly out to NSW, we have two days here before we fly to VIC.
-
After arriving in NSW my colleagues and I decide to go for a walk to a local cafe to discuss how we are all feeling and prepare for our meeting with an environmentalist group today. We have the meeting but unfortunately the environmentalist group didn’t show an interest due to our product being attached to a car.
-
We showed our prototype to the NSW Government and pitched our idea. They showed a great deal of interest and gave us a grant.
-
The minute we landed we dove into a meeting with the Victorian Government. They seemed to love our idea and also gave us a grant. We gave them a link to our online survey and asked if they would like to send it out to their community.
-
After walking to a local cafe we met with an environmentalist group and discussed our idea. They decided to help fundraise and get the idea out there.
-
After a long flight my Colleagues and I headed to dinner to celebrate and emailed members of the community and advertisement agencies in order to host a launch party. We contacted our previous focus groups and asked them to come and invite their friends and family.
-
After our guests arrive to a rented out hall (snacks and drinks provided) we have out discount codes and give a live demonstration of the product. The product is hooked up to a bus so that the guests can ride in the bus and get the live experience of the seed box. More brochures and links to our app will be given out.
