This was an important event in France because of the ideas during that time. People believed people ruled by divine right, and so when Louis was just executed it made the rest of Europe truly see how defiant the French people were. -

This event was considered the initial end of the French Revolution. This government system overthrew Napoleon Bonapart and ended the Directory in France. -

The Congress of Vienna was a group designed to reorganize land in Europe after the Napoleonic Wars. Countries sent one representative to represent them at the congress of Vienna. -

This treaty was signed between China and Great Britain. It basically ended the Opium Wars with Great Britain and allowed the British to trade with the Chinese without the Chinese imposing unreasonably priced tariffs.
