    When Nawang was on the expedition of Mount Everest, He was at a very high altitude. While he was at that high altitude he got very very sick with edema. Edema: swelling from excessive accumulation of watery fluid in cells, tissues, or serous cavities.

    May 6th, Fischer had to escort a group of climbers. Later in that trip, Other Sherpa's had finally reached Fischer was in a coma and roped to Makalu Gao, who had been left their by Sherpas trying to help him down. Only capable of taking one climber, the Sherpas chose Gao because he could be revived and would be more likely to live. They bundled-up Fischer and left him with extra oxygen.
