Away we go!
Fly from SF to Vienna via Frankfurt, arriving Sept 4th -
First Couchsurf
Leave Vienna for Graz, where we'll be staying with a rugby-playing, social work-studying gal named Veronika -
Croatia!
We'll depart Graz and head into Croatia, making our first stop Zagreb, where we'll be in a hostel for two nights -
to the plitvice lakes!
were off the the lovely unesco world heritage site - 13 lakes all connected by waterfall... -

a coastal town with ruins of the roman emperor diocletians holiday palace -
island time!
probably going to korcula, some fantastic island on the adriatic -
dubrovnik
two days and one night in the infamous fortified city of the croatian coast -
Farmstay!
Our first farmstay will be with Lucie, where we'll be helping restore her Tuscan villa for two weeks. -
Rome
Next we'll go to Rome, where we will live it up in Barre's gorgeous apartment for a week -
San Genesio
From Rome we'll take a train to the opposite coast to spend about five days staying with Aunt Gretchen and her Italian hosts David and Claudia. -
Farmstay 2
Hopefully from Gretchen/David and Claudia's place we will return to Tuscany to help out on Brent's goat farm (milking, herding, and making cheese, hurrah!) for about ten days. -
Farmstay 3
From the goat farm we will go to the island of Sardinia, where we will be helping in Carl's olive harvest for another ten days. -
Sicily
After our final farmstay we will ferry to Sicily, where we hope to explore and likely couchsurf for another week or so. -
Greece!
Around mid-November we will take another ferry to Greece, where we will explore, couchsurf, and have grand adventures! -
Istanbul
For our last stop on our journey we will spend four nights in Istanbul, saying hello to the East before we return to the West -

Fly back to San Fran, via Munich
