    Albany Plan of Union
    When the British and French clashed in the Ohio River Valley, seven colonies (both New England and middle colonies) met in Albany, New York for a meeting. The delgates, from each colony, tried to negotiate with the native american tribes but was unable to come to and agreement.This plan asked for a colonial legislature but keep colonial government as well.This shows that the colonies can come together if they all have one idea and work together.

  • French and Indian War (Seven Years' War)

    French and Indian War (Seven Years' War)
    This war was not only fought in the North America but also in Europe. Britian was the leading power in Europe and North America. Both colonists and french were being opressed by there government and both revolted. They both had good idea and eventually got what they want in the end.     This ended the Seven Years' War. Britian gained Canada and French gained east of the Mississippi River. This was a short agreement with the french and british.

    Proclamation of 1763
    This limited the colonist from moving west of the Mississippi River but many were mad about this. Even though this was set, many colonist still moved there. About 1,000 wagons from the colonies went there all at once. This is just one of the ways colonists team up and work together. Also buidling their relationship with each became stronger.     This brought together nine colonies tried to come up with solutions to repeal the Stamp Act and deny Parliment the right to tax them.     A group of New York merchants boycotted Britsih goods, so parliament would repeal the Stamp Act. Nonimportation quickly spread to other ports and and reduced theBristish exports. The way one colony feels maybe the same as another. if they put this feeling into ideas they will be able to have there own country.

    British soldilers outside of a customs house opened fire on a roaring crowd, that was threatening them. They killed 5 civlians and wounded 6 others.     Boston Tea Party
    In rebellion to Britian, Boston citizens threw 45 tons of East India tea into the harbor. Also another way to show Britian that colonies are strong when they stick together and see what comes of there ideas. After this happened King George III closed the harbor.
