Personal Reflection
I relate to Joseph when he was thrown in prison because he was wrongfully convicted and must have felt betrayed and alone but in Genesis 39:20-21, it says that God was with Joseph. I had a really low point in my spiritual life and felt betrayed by God and kept asking Him why these bad things are happening. But later I realized God is always with me. He has done so much for me and everything is part of His perfect plan and it might be a sign that the choices I made weren't part of God's will. -
How God's Covenant is Fulfilled Today
In Genesis 17, God says that the whole land of Canaan will belong to Abraham and his descendants. Now, the people of Israel believe the land is sacred to them and there has been lots of fighting to take control of Israel and Jerusalem.
