    Jacob Typology Part 2

John 10:51-53 - He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one. • Hong Kong, Personal Reflection

In Genesis 28:15, God tells Jacob: "I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go.” God has always been with me through every step of my life journey. I had a tough experience with going to a pretty scary piano teacher's place, and she would yell at me soon after I started playing and made me stand outside. God protected me through this all. I thought that she would be the only person who could help me, but God had a bigger plan for me and helped me learn to not rely on her to improve.
  • Israel, Overpopulation in Israel (God's covenant with Abraham being fulfilled today)

Gensis 17:7 says, "I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you." God promises Abraham a large number of descendants, and we can obviously see this covenant being fulfilled today. God has blessed Abraham with so many descendants that there is now overpopulation in Israel.
