My 18th birthday
My birthday is Feb. 9, 1994. On this day i turned 18 years old. When you 18 you are pretty much an adult by law, so thats pretty cool. It allows me to do a bunch of stuff i couldn't do before I was 18. Im older than alot of my friends by at least a year. -

My 1st Job
I started my first job at Kmart as a casher. I was hired for the postion of stockman. But before I could do that, I had to be trained on cash registar for a while. I still currently work at Kmart. Its not the most fun job but its not really hard work. I am friends with most of my coworks and get along with everyone. The real downside is that i only get paid minimuim wage. -

Senior Year
This was the first day of my last year in High School. It is senior year and gradution is coming up soon. This will be my last year at Northwest. It will be the last year I will get to see all my friends and other class mates at the same time and place. I have been with everyone since 4th grade. Its hard to imgaine never seeing them on a day to day basis. I may never see some of them again. -

Hurricane Sandy hits New York and other Northeast states hard and floods streets and causes major damage. The Hurricane was like Katrina and almost as bad. -
Voted for President
This was the first time that I voted for president. It was the the first year that I could actually vote. I voted for Obama just because there wasn't any other canidate that I agreed with more. I plan on voting every year if I can. It is a good thing to do because many people in other countries dont have the right to vote, so i want to take advantage of this great oppitunity to be a part of something. -

Took Cruise
I took a cruise over Christmas break. I was on board the Canival Glory. The ship was about 1000 ft long. It held more than 3,000 people. We visted the Bahammas, the US Virgin Islands, Purteo Rico, and the Grand Turks. It was the first time I had ever been out of the country. It was a great expericne and a fun time. I would do it again if i could.
