Mac OS X
The first operating system developed and sold by Apple. This marks the first of now 20 macOS, which updates every year. MacOS is one of the two major operating systems in the world. -
Amazon Web Services
Amazon Web Services was a project at Amazon.com from 2000-2005. Beginning as cloud storage to allow developers to work on their projects without worrying about where it would go. Now AWS is about 45% of all web services. -
Blu-ray
Blu-ray discs were to replace DVDs. They used blue lasers to read the disc while DVDs used red lasers. The blue laser allowed information to be stored with more density on a Blu-ray disc, giving media a better viewing quality. -
iPhone (1st Gen)
Apple releases their first smartphone which had been in development since 2004. The iPhone has seen 42 different models and is updated every year. Since its release, over 2B units have been sold. -
Bitcoin
Bitcoin was created by an unknown person in 2008 and began use in 2009. It is a decentralized digital currency that introduced cryptocurrency to the mainstream.
