  • The Nintendo DS

    The DS game system is a portable game console that allowed users to play games on the go with cartridges. This system popularized the idea of a portable game console. It also helped Nintendo stick with what direction it wanted to go in regarding it’s productions. This console was invented by Hitoshi Yamauchi.
  • Dexcom CGM’s

    Dexcom CGM’s
    This is a continuous glucose monitor, which is to be used with the previously invented glucose sensors. It is a medical device that monitors a patients glucose levels quicker than a traditional glucose monitor. It also had an added befit of only one skin prick every couple of days rather than 10’s of pokes per day. This invention was created from the research of Dr. Stuart J. Updike and George P. Hicks.
  • The IPhone

    This is a touch screen phone that was easy to use and combined a lot of different products into one. It also introduced IOS or the iPhone operating system which was a competitor to the Android OS. The iPhone was invented by Steve Jobs.

    This is a electronic book reading device basically. It made it to where you could have many books electronically rather than the physical books taking up space. It also functioned a lot like a real book when in sunlight, which is harder with more common tablet devices. The inventor of the Nook was the Barnes and Noble Company.
  • The Apple IPad

    The Apple IPad
    The IPad’s creation is not the first tablet, similarly to the iPhone, but made doing basic functions on a touch screen device easier and much faster. This device also increased the appeal of tablet computers compared to laptop computers because of it’s functionality and productivity features. This device was created by Steve Jobs.
