Originally iTunes was a place were users could bring music from CD's into iTunes mix it with other songs, and then burn it onto a disk, creating a new CD. It later allowed users to download music and listen that way. It how now transformed into Apple Music and allows millions of songs to be listened to daily. -

The Wii Remote combined advanced gesture recognition into gaming, using accelerometer and optical sensor technologies to interact with the user. These advances allowed for games to incorporate a wide range of player physical movements. -
Amazon Kindle
The first kindle allowed access to books, magazines, news papers, etc. via Amazon.com. This allowed people to read, and gain information from anywhere, not just at a computer desk or library. -

Bitcoin was released, allowing for a peer to peer electronic cash system. Bitcoin is a crypto currency, which is a substitute for government controlled money.
