    USB flash drives were originally conceptualized in 1998 by a man named Dov Moran but were not sold widely until 2000. USB drives would eventually replace floppy drives and optical disks. This little drive has changed the way we save and store data, especially for people on the go.
  • Microsoft Windows XP

    This operating system replaced decades old software infrastructure and brought a modern computing experience to consumers. This operating system helped paved the way for the operating systems we use today. This particular operating system was invented by Microsoft Inc. for use in its PC and featured the Luna visual style.
  • Nintendo Wii

    In 2006 Nintendo Wii didn't only change the way we play games and use motion sensor controllers, it also changes the way that we interact with gaming systems. The Wii remote used advanced gesture recognition using accelerometer and optical sensor technologies to help the user interact with the console. The Wii also allowed access to online services providing games and other entertainment services.

These phones also had touch screens, gps, calendar, weather, high definition camera, and other tools at the tip of the user's fingertips. At the time, this was considered a revolutionary phone with improved capability.

    Created by Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, the Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 used five 3.5-inch 200 GB platters and rotated at 7,200 RPM. It was thousands of times smaller than the first ever HDD and featured over 300,000 times as much storage capacity as the original HDD created by IBM, which had a storage capacity of 3.75 MB.
