    Release of USB Flash Drive
    The USB Flash Drive was invented by Fujio Masuoka in the 1980's but it wasn't released until 2000. I included the Flash Drive during this timeline because it wasn't released until 2000's. The USB Flash Drive or thumb drive is a memory stick that stores files and data up to a certain GB. The USB Flash Drive allows for the storage of files, transferring files from one computer to another and also serves as a back up for storing data/files.

  • Google Chrome Web Browser Released

    On 09/02/2008, Google launched its Google Chrome Web Browser. Google Chrome is one of the most popular web browsers used to date. Google Chrome was created by Google and their developers to be one of the independent web browsers.

  • Gmail is launched by Google

    Gmail is launched by Google
    Gmail was launched and published by Google on 04/01/2004. Gmail was created and initiated by one of Google's developers Paul Buchheit. Gmail was a significant change and benefited us as being a browser-based email program that has allowed people to be able to search emails or messages easily.

  • Macbook Pro is Released

    On 01/05/2006 Macbook Pro is Released by Apple. The Macbook Pro was made and developed by Apple. This event is significant as it was Apple's first Intel based Mac.

  • Apple iPad is Released

    The iPad is a tablet form of a computer and it was created and released by Apple on 01/27/2010. The iPad has become popular and widely used in education, healthcare and other business settings. The iPad is also thought of as a mobile computer.
