This is a house that is an American Colonial House. These houses were made by the British, but since the British immigrated to America, these housings followed along. There are also other styles- Spanish, French, Dutch, and British Colonial architecture. This is because these people also inhabited America, so we also gained their style of housing.

This is an old version of French Acadian housing. These houses are from the Acadians. They were from France. The made it to America because they wanted freedom from high class in France. These houses could possibly also be called the Cajun style.

This house type is from the 1700s, but went into the 1800s as well. This is called the Georgian style. This style was secluded to the 13th colonies. That is where you can find original houses of this style. This style is named after King George. This style was used by colonists to mix up the styles in the 13th colonies.
