    Nokia 1011 - GSM Digital Phone
    At the time it had an exceptional battery life of 90 minutes talk time, 12 hour battery life. It could store 99 numbers and allowed users to send and receive SMS messages. It was the world's first mass produced GSM digital phone allowing people to increase mobile communicate.

    Released in December 1994 in Japan (September 1995 in the U.S.) The Play Station by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), it was the child project of Ken Kutaragi. The Play Station provided a higher quality gaming experience with its 3D graphics and games were played on newer CD Rom technology. It was geared towards the older teens and young adults who grew up with first generation video games.

    The DVD was invented in 1995, sold in in retail stores in1996. Although no single person or company can be credited for the invention of the DVD, a single universal disk format was agreed upon. The lower cost DVD movies replaced the bulky more expensive VHS tapes, they offer interactive layouts and you no longer have to rewind the tape! DVDs are used for a wide variety of reasons from data storage to movies, they are low cost, compact and offer long life, with no depreciation in quality.

    Created in by co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin in their friends garage. They developed what would later be the world’s largest search engine. It has since grown and developed into much more and impacts most of us on a daily basis. From the way we navigate using maps, how we search and shop, how marketing is done and much more. Google is woven into a part of many of our daily lives.
