    Digital Answering Machine
    Dr. Kazuo Hashimoto invented the digital answering machine in 1983 but, he wasn't able to commercially produced and ship over to the U.S until 1991. Answering machines were used to leave voices messages when one couldn't answer the phone. Today, people are now able to leave a message on your phone and not have a separate machine for that specific purpose.

    2G Cellphones
    2G cellphones were commercially launched in Finland in 1991 by Radiolinja. 2G cellphones provided faster service than previous 1G cellphones. Texting, downloading, and phone calls became more popular with this new service. Overtime these advances have changed and made things run smoother. Today some cellphones now use 5G which proved faster internet services and connections without hassle.
