    Tim Berners-Lee, a British engineer and computer scientist, created the first worldwide informational system. it was a way for information to move from a server and a client. it has changed our way of communicating and socializing we use the web for things like messaging boards, emails, video calls etc.

    Niel Papworth, the creator of the messaging feature, sent the first text message in 1992. telephones were around since the 70's but it was in the 90's when they started to add personal features. but the messaging feature didn't really take off until a few years later.

    sony and Philips came together to create a new VHS. CDs were made to have better digital media. it was made to be easier to store and carry as well as having better quality in the visual aspects. the main selling point was the difference in sizes.

    when the PlayStation X came out in 1994 it quickly became one of the fastest selling gaming consoles of its time. this console played CD-ROM games. In the first month it sold 300,000 consoles in Japan alone. this invention really pushed for the gaming consoles that we have today changing the gaming world for the future.

    German engineer Karlheinz Brandenburg known as the father of the MP3. he along with other people in a group at Fraunhofer Institute worked to make this item that could encrypt music to a drive, like a CD. when they first came out, they were selling like hot cakes. it's changed the way we listen to music, and it is what moved our phones to soon be able to play music on them.
