    Jeffrey Dahmer is caught
    On July 22, 1991, serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer was caught and arrested. Dahmer was an incredibly dangerous sex offender and killer. He would lure his victims into his apartment where he would sexually absue them and then dismember their bodies and save parts to eat.     Riots erupt in Los Angeles - Rodney King verdict
    Paroled felon Rodney King had led police on a chase before surrendering. He was intoxicated and therefore not cooperative and resisted arrest. He was brutally beaten by the police officers. On April 29, 1992, a 12-person jury with 10 whites and no African Americans issued it's verdicts not guilty on all counts.     On February 26, 1993, terrorists lit the fuses of a homemade bomb underneath the World Trade Center's twin towers. Six people died and about a thousand were injured in the explosion. This was before the 9/11 tragedy and had been the worst terrorist attack at this time.     O.J. Simpson aquitted
    O.J. Simpson was a former football star who was accused of murdering his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. The trial lasted for 252 days and was found not guilty on October 30, 1995, on the account of not having enough evidence to prove he was the murderer. O.J.     Centennial Olympic Park Bombing
    During the Olympic Games in Atlanta Georgia on July 27, 1996, the Centennial Olympic Park was bombed. The explosion happened during a free concert which resulted in killing a mother and 100 others injured. Police were warned about the bombing in advance but it happened before the anonymous caller said it would.     The House of Representatives approved two articles of impeachment against President Bill Clinton on December 19, 1998. He was charged with lying under oath to a federal grand jury and obstructing justice.   • Columbine

    Two teens went on a shooting spree at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado on April 20, 1999. The two teens killed 13 people and wounded more than 20 others before committing suicide.
