    December 3, 1992- Neil Papworth sent the world’s first text message. He sent if from a PC, as cell phones didn’t have keyboards at that time. This invention has forever changed the way that we are able to communicate with each other. Today more people prefer to text than call someone on the phone.

    1995- Ajay Bhatt was working for intel when he co-invented the USB (Universal Serial Bus). When asked about his work his response was that he “didn’t do it for the money but to bring change in the world of innovations.” This invention has benefited society in many ways, the most known would probably be the ability to move information from PC to PC with ease.

    July 16, 1995- Jeff Bezos opened an online bookstore out of his garage. That bookstore is what we all know as Amazon. Amazon has changed the way almost everyone shops these days. Now if you need something you can place your order and within a couple hours it could be at your door. This was highly productive during COVID when the world was on lock down.
