The first text-based web browser was published for public use in January of 1992. The development for the world wide web began by Tim Berners-Lee and colleagues. Now the World Wide Web is now a vast space used all of the world for everything from school, to shopping, to entertainment. -

Java is an ever popular programming language that came to fruition in 1995. It was made by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems. Java runs on basically every kind of system (even phones and game consoles) and holds five principles. It must be simple, object-oriented, and familiar. It must be robust and secure. It must be architecture-neutral and portable. It must execute with high performance. It must be interpreted, threaded, and dynamic. -
DVDs
Digital Versatile Disc or Digital Video Disc was created in 1995, released in 1996. It was developed overall by a multitude of companies such as Sony, Toshiba, Philips, and more. This invention paved the way for HD DVD and Blue-ray Discs and were used for things like video game consoles. Even thought they're not as popular anymore they still are an essential part to our past technological advancements.
