The launch of Windows 1 was a huge deal back then since it gave Apple something to look out for and planted the roots for a company that now worth billions and is a big player in the video games market, without windows 1 who knows what kind of operating system computer manufactures would use. -

The Nintendo GameBoy was a 8-bit portable gaming device created by Gunpei Yokoi that revolutionized the gaming industry by expanding the portable gaming market beyond the tiger electronic series of games but also in my opinion gave ideas to the phone market.
