Reaganomics was the popular term for President Ronald Reagan's economic policies. Reagan believed in lower taxes on the middle class to stimulate spending and lower taxes on businesses so they can have the incentive to reinvest their money in capital expenditures to grow businesses and stimulate the overall economy. -

The Iran-Contra Affair was a secret U.S. arms deal that traded missiles and other arms to free some Americans held hostage by terrorists in Lebanon but also used funds from the arms deal to support armed conflict in Nicaragua.
