    The first IBM PC was invented in July of 1980 by a team of engineers and designers directed by Don Estridge. This PC had 16 kilobytes of memory. It came with 1 or 2 160K floppy disk drives. Some even had an optional color monitor. This pricy item started at $1565.00

    Martin Cooper was placed in charge to develop a cellphone. The DynaTAC was the first true cell phone and godfather of all cell phones. When it came out in 1983 it cost $4000. It took 10 hours to charge and that gave you 30 minutes of talk time. The concept of the mobile phone back then seemed like it was only for the rich. It took quite a few years to become the very popular and standard accessory we all love and adore.
