    The L.A. Dodgers faced the Minnesota Twins. The L.A. Dodgers won 4 out of the 7 games.

    People were getting mad at the government for continueing fight the war. 35,000 people marched in Washington to help stop the war.

    The Great Blackout cut electricity in Northeastern U.S.A. and Canada. 800,000 people were stuck in New York's Subways. Thousands of people were stuck in things like elavatiors and other trains. 5,000 police officers were on duty to stop looting.
