Colour TV
The first coloured TV was used so that TV programmes are in colour. It made TV programme more interesting and more exciting. -
Hard disk
The hard disk is use to store memory. The first hard disk was so big it needed to be transported by the airplane. However, it could only store 5MB memory. Compared to today's USB which holds up to 64GB of memory it is a big difference -
Photocopier
The photocopier that time only could photocopy black and white. Unlike the ones now which are multi-functioned. You could print, scan, photocopy and even faxing. -
Computer mouse
It was used by plugging it in into a computer to scroll and select. Today's mouse are mostly wireless which ment there aren't wires tangling about. They are also smaller now which is more convinient. -
Digital Watch
Watches are digital so that we don't have to read it as annologue. This invention made it more convinient because people could just look and know the time. Although it is just a small change it is much more useful. -
First VHs
VHs are used to record programmes from the TV and could be played again after the TV show. VHs are like the recording system now but you have to pt the VHs in the TV. -
Laptop
It is used as a computer, however it is much lighter and it is portable. -
Mobile phone
To have phone calls wirelessly. So that we can call not only from home but anywhere. This brought a lot of convinience to people because it was really hard trying to find someone on the street. You can't contact them, it would be very frustrating if there weren't mobile phones!! -
Gameboy (First generation)
It was the first handheld gaming console, it was created by Nitendo -
Ipad (Third generation)
Use as a laptop, it can also can be used as entertainment. Comparing to a laptop it is much lighter and smaller. The Ipad can also be used as a camera. It is a multi-functioned computer.
