VHs are used to record programmes from the TV and could be played again after the TV show. VHs are like the recording system now but you have to pt the VHs in the TV.

To have phone calls wirelessly. So that we can call not only from home but anywhere. This brought a lot of convinience to people because it was really hard trying to find someone on the street. You can't contact them, it would be very frustrating if there weren't mobile phones!!
