The Vietnam war occurred in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia from 1 November 1955 to the fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975. 3,000,000 Vietnamese were killed and 58,000 Americans were killed. This war is commonly known as the most conversial American war. -

The Charles Manson family cult attempted to assassinate Gerald Ford on September 5, 1975. Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme was sent to kill U.S. President Gerald Ford in Sacramento, California. She was convicted and sentenced to 34 years in prison. -
Lennon Assassination
John Lennon was shot to death by Mark David Chapman. Lennon was entering The Dakota, in New York City, the building where he lived at the time of the shooting. He was pronounced dead at Roosevelt hospital shortly after.
