    Civilian Construction Corp was a relief program, it helped unemployed, unmarried men get a job and work. men ages 18 to 23 were chosen to work then the age range was expanded to 17 to 28. The men would make $30 A month ($547 in 2015) I chose this as one of my topics because it was a large part of getting America back on its feet.

    FCC
    Federal Communications Commission was formed on June 29th 1934 to regulate communications by radio, wire, television,satellite, and cable in all 50 states. The mission is to avoid discrimination to any people. I chose this because it began in 1934 and is still in action today.
  • Tape Recorder

    Magnetic Tape Recorder blew other forms of audio out of the water. Analog was used all the way up to the 21st century when digital took over. The magnetic tape recorder had provided musicians with better quality sound and easy for editing ability. I chose this as one of my topics because i love music and find the history of music and recording devices.

    Early Models of the ballpoint pen appeared in 1895 but the first satisfactory pen was made by Lazlo Brio in the 1930's. Ballpoint pens were popular in Great Britten in 1930's in the 1940's the pen was popular world wide creating a huge market for pens. I chose this because I find it interesting that such a simple invention we take for granted everyday got world wide popularity in a decade.

    September 14th 1939 the worlds first working helicopter built by Vought Sikorsky Aircraft Division, of the United Aircraft Corporation the fist flight only lasted a few seconds but was a success. I chose this as one of my topics because this invention changes warfare so much later.

    The Rangefinder 35 was introduced to compete with the Argus C- series the Rangefinder was geared coupled to the front lens element through a cumbersome external linkage, this resulted in a design that "only a mother could love" it was one of the most used cameras in the military they made it in OD green the Military bought the majority of the first released cameras.

    Built by Indian Motorcycle Company, From 1928-1942, the Indian 4 was based upon the Ace motorcycle. the 1940-42 frame was modified to have a rear plunger suspension system. all 1940's models of the Indian bikes had been changed to have large decorate fenders. production to civilian was discontinued once the war started but never came back.

    The Z3 was built by thr German engineer Konrad Zuse. He worked in total isolation from developments elsewhere. it used 2 360 relays, it performs floating point binary arithmetic and has a 22-bit word length, the Z3 was used for aerodynamic calculations but was destroyed in a bombing raid in berlin in late 1943. Zuse made another one that is on display in a museum from the 60's
  • First Guided Missile

    The first guided missile was the V1, it was also known as the Doodle Bug. A gryoscope ensured the rocket would travel towards a persistent, the nose of the rocket kept track of how far it had flown before it drops to its target being an extremely deadly weapon.

    The first Date Just was released the year 1945. It was the first watch with a self winding wrist chronometer. a fluted bezel making it a first glance recognizable as a Rolex it is the pillar of the oyster collection mostly for men but later models released form women too.
