Chinese Canadians faced a huge decline in the 1920s. Chinese Canadians had to pay so their family member could come to Canada. This caused a decline in the number of Chinese people coming to Canada. If this wasn't the case the amount of Chinese Canadians would be much higher. -

Indigenous Canadians faced a huge decrease in the 1920s. The continuation of the residential school changed the indigenous culture. This has caused division and suffering even to this day (2021). -
Automobiles (+1)
Automobiles were popularized in the 1920s allowing ease of travel. Henry Ford also created the assembly line allowing for the creation of more cars. This meant that horse and buggy weren't used as much. -
Radio/movies (+1)
The popularization of radio/movies caused an increase in people mental health and ability to get news. This caused a greater well being for the people that didn't have access to this already. Movies affects dwindled once the great depression started as people didn't have the money to see movies. -
Women's rights (+2)
Women gained multiple rights during the 1920s. This included the dress code for teachers and the ability to run for a government position. This is because of Nellie McClung, Emily Murphy, & The Famous Five. -
The stock market crash of 1929 (-2)
Canadians faced economic hardships after the stock market crash of 1929. This was from the stock markets easy accessibility and caused the great depression. The great depression lasted from 1929-1939.
